About us
About Us – We are Mind and Script
A blog built at the intersection of logic and life. For developers who have feelings, writers who love technology, and curious people who simply refuse to be one thing.
About our mission and vision, we aim to bridge the gap between technology and human experience.
The internet loves to put people in boxes. There are tech blogs for your code, lifestyle sites for your feelings, and entertainment platforms for everything in between. But real people don’t live in those boxes. You don’t stop being human the moment you start debugging a deployment, and you don’t lose your analytical edge while navigating a breakup or booking a flight.
Mind and Script exist because we got tired of having to choose.
We cover mental health, personal growth, technology, books, movies, travel, and professional life — not as separate silos, but as the overlapping, messy, interconnected things they actually are.
Our tagline is “Deep Thoughts, Clean Thoughts.” That’s not just a nice phrase. It’s a commitment to writing that thinks carefully, expresses clearly, and respects the reader enough to say something real.
What we cover
Mental health
Honest, research-informed writing about burnout, anxiety, grief, identity, and the slow work of figuring yourself out.
Technology
Practical guides, cloud how-tos, developer perspectives, and honest takes on where the industry is headed.
Books and movies
Thoughtful reviews and recommendations that go beyond plot summaries to ask what stories actually do to us.
Travel
Personal accounts from the places we have actually been, with the kind of detail that only comes from being there.
Professional life
Real conversations about careers, workplace culture, ambition, and building a working life you can respect.
Personal growth
Writing about failure, purpose, habits, and the kind of progress that doesn’t make it onto a CV.
We also welcome guest contributors who share our values around honest, thoughtful writing. If you would like to contribute, we would love to hear from you.
What we believe
- Information should be an experience, not just a search result.
- People are more than their job titles, diagnoses, reading lists, or travel histories.
- Writing can be both precise and warm, both useful and meaningful. There is no reason to choose between them.
- Honesty matters even when it’s uncomfortable. We credit our sources, acknowledge when we don’t know something, and treat our readers as intelligent adults.
- The more openly we talk about difficult things, the less alone we all feel.
