What I achieved with Ionic Framework?

About 8 months I started learning Ionic Framework. At that time, Ionic v4 was in BETA mode. I started with building a simple App for Phlebotomist, PhlebEx, used for making Home Collection Service digitized.

The App provides Home Collection requests, insights, pickup management, sample BARCODE scanning, location tracking, etc.

Working with a framework which is still in development mode, made me face several issues and bugs. But Ionic Team did a great job here. Their documentation and communities helped me a lot.

After this, I started building a CRM Tool, MedtriX, to be used by sales-force of an organization. This app enables the user to create meetings, reschedule meetings, send invites to their Reporting Manager, etc. In this application I added Offline feature, thus making it an Offline-First Mobile Application. Also I made my hands dirty by experimenting with Geo-location and Google Maps APIs. Background Geo-location tracking helps the reporting manager to track the live location and meeting locations of the Area Managers during the business hours.

With the confidence I gained building these 2 applications, I created several apps for Labs and Hospitals, as per their requirements, viz. Camp+: Used to create entries of the people in the Camps with basic details like demographic information, diagnosis details, etc. This also works Offline as the camps were usually held in remote locations with low/no internet connectivity. PatientVoix: This is digital feedback collection application, currently being used by some Hospitals. This app triggers alerts to the management or the SPoC if any user rates below a certain score.

These are simple stuffs. What else?

I didn’t stopped exploring the framework. By this time, Ionic has launched its v4 LTS version. I decided to push the limits of the framework. What I did?? I created a BOT using Ionic.

The BOT is still in developmental phase, but we just launched recently under the name, S.I.P.U.- Smart & Interactive Patient Utility: The BOT currently has basic features like searching doctors by name or by department, requesting callbacks, getting walk-in OPD schedule details, FAQs. Some more new and interesting features to come soon, like booking appointment and making payment, open text search, voice enabled search.

The Possibilities are Endless.. You just need to keep Exploring..!!

Feel free to share your work with me or if you have any ideas, you want to build with Ionic Framework, I’ll definitely give it a try and share it with you.
